What is meant to last deserves long-term support.
A reformer is not a device you replace after two years. It stands in a studio or living space, is used every day and should still run precisely long after it has become part of the furniture. That is why we give our own warranty on The Virtù Line — in addition to what you are entitled to anyway.
On this page you will find both: your statutory rights as a buyer and the scope of our voluntary warranty. The warrantor is Bodyfit Handels KG — so you have the same contact for both.
Statutory notice pursuant to Section 9a Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG)
Important notice: The following warranty exists independently of and in addition to the statutory warranty rights (legal guarantee of conformity). For consumers, the Austrian Consumer Warranty Act (VGG) applies; for businesses, Sections 922 et seq. of the Austrian Civil Code (ABGB). Consumers have a two-year statutory guarantee period from handover of the goods against Bodyfit Handels KG as the seller. Within the first twelve months, it is presumed that a defect already existed at handover. If the goods are repaired within the guarantee period, the period is extended once by one year; this applies to contracts concluded from 1 October 2026. This warranty does not restrict your statutory rights in any way.

Your statutory guarantee rights in the EU

Bodyfit Handels KG places the brand "The Virtù Line" on the market in the European Union and is also the warrantor. You therefore have a single point of contact — for the statutory guarantee as well as for the warranty.
Scope
The warranty applies to all devices of the product line "The Virtù Line" purchased new from Bodyfit Handels KG or from an authorised dealer, in all member states of the European Union and in the European Economic Area. The warranty periods run from the proven date of purchase according to the original invoice and require proper use, care and maintenance in accordance with the operating instructions.

For individual components (e.g. upholstery, wear-prone components) the warranty period is shorter than the statutory warranty. Your statutory warranty rights of two years from delivery apply to all components regardless.

Reporting a warranty claim
Please report a warranty claim without delay, at the latest within 14 days of becoming aware of it, to info@bodyfit-shop.at with the keyword "Warranty claim The Virtù Line". This notification period applies only to the voluntary warranty. No notification period applies to your statutory warranty rights.
So that we can act immediately, please provide: invoice or order number, date of purchase, model name and serial number, a description of the defect, the location of the device and — if possible — photos or a short video.
This English version is provided for information purposes. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version shall prevail.
