The RAMINA Armchair is a classically designed Pilates Armchair made of wood, developed for professional use and distinguished by its clear, upright presence. With its connecting, stabilizing characteristics, it provides support in the vertical plane, controlled guidance, and controlled power transmission within a calm, classic equipment architecture.
Who the RAMINA Armchair is for
- Studios that use a device based on Joseph Pilates' classic design for structured arm, shoulder, and upper body work.
- physiotherapy practices that want to work with a high-quality Pilates device.
- Trainers who value a clearly structured piece of specialized equipment with direct, finely adjustable spring feedback.
- Quality-oriented private clients looking to expand their studio setup with a classic maple wood Pilates device.
With a compact footprint of 72 × 40 cm and a height of 86 cm, the RAMINA Armchair brings a calm, upright presence to any training or practice space. The net weight is 35 kg. Maximum user weight: 150 kg.
Construction and Material
The RAMINA Armchair combines wood construction made from high-quality maple with premium stainless steel metal parts and an upholstered pad made from high-quality, breathable synthetic leather — slip-resistant and designed for studio use (warranty designed for a maximum use of 27.5 hours per week). The clear, upright geometry supports clean alignment and precise execution of movement.
Spring System and Handles
The RAMINA Armchair operates with two classic springs in different resistance levels and a spring anchoring system with various positions — for a direct, finely controllable resistance feel. The system is complemented by a pair of wooden handles and a pair of handles with elastic bands for clear arm and upper body guidance.
Application
- Classic arm, shoulder, and upper body training in a seated position
- Postural alignment and stabilization work for the torso
- Targeted technique training with precisely adjustable spring feedback
- Conscious strength development and mobilization in studio and home training
Execution
For personal consultation regarding upholstery selection, spring configuration, and integration into existing training setups, our three Virtù Line showrooms (Schloss Tillysburg, Kitzbühel, Palma de Mallorca) are available by appointment.
