The Virtù Pilates Circle — also known as a magic circle — is a classic piece of Pilates training equipment that provides targeted resistance for activating deep muscles. Gently squeezed, it activates the abdominals, pelvic floor, inner thighs, arms, and chest — in a precisely measured and controlled manner.
What the Pilates Circle is suitable for
- Inner thighs and pelvic floor — squeezed between the knees or ankles, for targeted adductor activation.
- Arms, shoulders, and chest — squeezed between the hands, for chest and arm muscles.
- Core and stability — as resistance during standing, seated, and lying exercises.
- Pilates on the mat or in reformer training — as a compact add-on that increases the effectiveness of classic exercises.
Material and handling
The Pilates Circle consists of a fiberglass core with a non-slip rubber coating — the combination ensures consistent, gentle resistance and shape retention. The ergonomic soft-grip handles rest comfortably against the knees, ankles, or hands and distribute pressure over a large area.
Compact and portable
With external dimensions of approx. 30 × 30 cm and a weight of only approx. 390 g, the Pilates Circle is easy to store and can be used anywhere — at home, in the studio, or on the go.
